The Hunters are familiar faces on this blog. I met this loving family three years ago during a session in Balboa Park, and in January, we create family portraits at Torry Pines when Amber’s mother was in town. This year, I had the honor of photographing the Hunters in the backyard of their brand new house!
Meet Med and Gail. They got married on a Saturday at Christ Church Unity in El Cajon this September in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by family and friends.
Meet Jodi and James. This gorgeous couple got married on a beautiful September Saturday in San Diego at Liberty Station. I met Jodi a few years ago when we worked together. She was intelligent, beautiful and kind and I was honored to call her a friend. When she asked if I would photograph her wedding, I was touched.
Jodi and James’ intimate ceremony was officiated by Jodi’s father while a dozen or so family members gathered to witness the union.
Congratulations J&J! Praying a lifetime of blessings and love on you both.
Meet the Campbell family. Kimberly was one of the winners of a silent auction at College Avenue Baptist Preschool where her daughters and my son attend. Among the prizes she and her mother won, was a session with me. We met on an overcast Saturday morning in August where I met her darling daughters, Claire and Hanna, and her husband Rob. This beautiful family was so easy and fun to work with and their connection with each other was effortless.y photographed
Thank you Campbell family for spending a Saturday morning with me!
Meet the Contreras Family. Andrea, Carlos and little Emma Rose and I got together on a Saturday in July for some family and first birthday portraits. Emma Rose was a champ as we dealt with the warm weather and bugs at Mission Trails and mom and dad were adorable with their coordinated outfits. At the end of the session, I found out that one of the reasons Andrea chose me was because my About Me section mentioned that I am a Christian. It felt great to connect over our beliefs in a casual way.
Here’s to a very happy birthday Emma Rose, and I know I’ll have the opportunity to work with the Contreras family again!
Meet the George family. I first had the pleasure of photographing Alex, Shannon and their beautiful daughter, Harper in April for Harper’s 1st birthday portraits. Then in July, I drove to San Clemente to photograph the Georges during their annual family vacation. This lovely family (Alex, Shannon, Harper, Alex’s brother Ben, his wife, Sara, and their son, Cal) were so much fun to work with, and Alex and Ben’s parents even jumped in for a few portraits!
Thank you George family for letting me play a role in your annual vacation, and I can’t wait to work with you all again soon!
Meet the Nichols family. I first met this beautiful group in November during the midst of a busy holiday season. We got together on a Saturday morning in Del Sur for a mix of holiday and family photos, and I was thrilled when Chris called wanting some updated family portraits and a few senior photos for her son, Preston. We held the session in La Jolla, and enjoyed the changing light as the sun slowly set.
This June session was full of adorable kids and fabulous scent-filled products from Scentco, and Santee company that focuses on scented stationary, gifts and toys. We met near the Scentco offices in Santee where the kids played with the scented plushies, backpack buddies, pens, markers and more branded with fun characters from Disney, Nickelodeon and Marvel.
Lyra, Zoey and Bailey were natural models as the showcased the toys, Smarkers and Smencils.
