Meet the Grayots. If you notice a similarity to another family featured recently on the blog, it’s because Azure is Seneca‘s sister! I met this sweet lady on a December Monday along with her husband, Delon, and their 5-month-old puppy Chanel. We roamed the park in La Jolla before heading down to the beach to watch Chanel experience her first time on sand.
This year, I have been blessed to be able to photograph several repeat clients. This means so much to me, not only because by booking a session with me again, they are saying they enjoyed their previous experience, but it also allows me a chance to catch up with them and see what’s new in their lives.
I met Ms. Rhonda last year while she was vacationing in La Jolla. We spent nearly three hours together exploring the Cove and some of downtown. She said she would be back this year, and I was thrilled when she let me know her dates. This year, we had rain and we kept pushing back our session. We finally decided to just do it, and Ms. Rhonda came and I both came armed with umbrellas to incorporate into the session.
I had so much fun, and can’t wait until your next yearly trip to San Diego!
Meet the George family. I met Alex and Shannon early on a Saturday morning in April at La Jolla Cove where we explored different areas of the park. Mom and dad were celebrating daughter, Harper’s first birthday with a portrait session.
Happy birthday, Harper, and here’s to a wonderful year!
Gus and Inna made the trip from Denver, Colorado to San Diego to spend a few days together celebrating their love. The pair, who met online, will be getting married overseas in the fall, but couldn’t resist the opportunity to get away for a preview wedding session. Their love for each other showed with every look, touch and word that flowed from their mouths and I am so honored that I was asked to document their special moments.
Here’s to you Gus and Inna as you prepare to spend the rest of your lives together!
I met Alexia while she was working as the director of a preschool where I shot portraits. This was a two-day shoot followed by a two-day portrait selection day. Alexia and her staff were so great in helping with the parents that I wanted to do something to show my gratitude. Alexia said she hasn’t had an professional portraits of her family since her daughter was born and she and her family were preparing to move from Imperial Beach to Fort Wayne, Indiana.
We mused at the irony that I grew up in Fort Wayne when we met for a mini session on a gray Saturday morning. Martin family, I hope you had a wonderful cross country trip and have settled into your new home!
Kyle and I met for a headshot session at La Jolla Cove one a weekday in May. I was excited to learn that Kyle, a San Diego investment specialist, is also from Michigan.
We made the most of our session by switching backgrounds with each outfit change and I think we got a great collection of both professional and personal images.
