Meet Jodi and James. This gorgeous couple got married on a beautiful September Saturday in San Diego at Liberty Station. I met Jodi a few years ago when we worked together. She was intelligent, beautiful and kind and I was honored to call her a friend. When she asked if I would photograph her wedding, I was touched.
Jodi and James’ intimate ceremony was officiated by Jodi’s father while a dozen or so family members gathered to witness the union.
Congratulations J&J! Praying a lifetime of blessings and love on you both.
Meet Hillary and Jeryan. They are engaged. We met on a weekend in February at Balboa Park. While Jeryan looked for a parking spot, Hillary and I chatted a bit. I learned that Jeryan moved to San Diego from Long Beach and is in the IT field. Hillary is a teacher and an artist. In fact, she’s drawn up some pretty cool wedding-inspired animals to use as decorations for their big day.
Best of luck to the both of you as you prepare to spend your lives together!
I love simplicity and when Daniela and Erick said they wanted a simple elopement session at Del Mar Beach with their Great Dane, Magnus, I knew it would be beautiful. Daniela wore a white lace dress and Erick was casual in slacks and a sports coat. After a short ceremony, we made our way down to the beach as the sun started to set.
Thank you both for allowing me to capture this special moment in your lives, and here’s to a long life together filled with joy!
Gus and Inna made the trip from Denver, Colorado to San Diego to spend a few days together celebrating their love. The pair, who met online, will be getting married overseas in the fall, but couldn’t resist the opportunity to get away for a preview wedding session. Their love for each other showed with every look, touch and word that flowed from their mouths and I am so honored that I was asked to document their special moments.
Here’s to you Gus and Inna as you prepare to spend the rest of your lives together!
I had the pleasure of working with one of the cutest, most upbeat couples last month. I met Mesha and David at a coffee shop a few weeks before their San Diego engagement session to discuss their vision for the shoot. I learned that, like me, the couple are Mid-West transplants, and Mesha also has a journalism degree from a Michigan college! Small world.
Here’s to a happy married life Mesha and David!
I spent a beautiful January morning on the beach with Mohammad and Dalia, who was visiting the United States from Egypt for the first time with her family. Mohammad, who is also from Egypt, moved to San Diego about seven months ago for work, but will be making the day-long trip back to Egypt to marry Dalia.
I’m wishing you both lots of love and happiness as you prepare to spend your lives together!
